France on course for 'encouraging' emissions cuts says climate council
The advisory body estimates, for the first time, that the country could meet its 2030 greenhouse gas emissions reduction target of 50%, provided the pace is maintained. But even greater efforts will be needed to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
